The American media companies are divided in keeping their reporters in Baghdad. Both ABC and NBC News pulled their reporters and crews yesterday, saying the danger was too great. CBS and CNN reporters and crews remain. In the print media, \"The New York Times\" has pulled its reporters. The \"Wall Street Journal\" and \"USA Today\" do not have reporters in Baghdad. The \"Washington Post\" and \"Newsweek\" have not pulled their reporters yet. There is an American TV pool, where all the major TV networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and Fox News) agreed to share \"live\" video coverage from Baghdad during the first 24-hours of the war. CNN is in that pool, but only agreed to share video from the top of the Information Ministry in Baghdad. NBC will receive Baghdad reports from Peter Arnett, who works for National Geographic Explorer, and ABC has a video sharing deal with the BBC and Arab satellite news channel, al Jazeera.
